Science week

Here are some photos of us doing some science experiments for Science Week. We looked at balance and made balancing clowns. We played with wooden dragon flies that balance on your finger tip which teacher brought home from Vietnam. We also did lots of fun experiments with floating and sinking. We tested boats, stones, rubber ducks, crayons and lots more to see if they floated or sank. We loved it!

Halloween

We all dressed up for Halloween. Look how scary we look.

Nature Walk

On Monday afternoon we decided to go down to Renmore barracks to see the beautiful trees around there. We saw a huge horse chestnut tree and gathered conkers and leaves. We also saw sycamore and oak trees and pretty gardens. There were lots of people out enjoying the sunshine.

Working hard in Junior Infants

Here are some children from room 2 very hard at work. We are only 6 weeks at school and are very good at writing our letters already! We are learning letter h this week.
